We The Leaders is a new political movement founded by K. Annamalai, former Tamil Nadu BJP president and ex-IPS officer. Launched on June 5, 2026, our initiative aims to revolutionize the way politics is done in Tamil Nadu. Our mission is to create a new era of conscious leadership, community engagement, and data-driven decision-making.

Our History

K. Annamalai, after resigning from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), embarked on a journey to create a new political alternative in Tamil Nadu. With a vision to move away from “cult and dynastic politics” and foster a “common man politics,” Annamalai launched We The Leaders as a precursor to a full-fledged political party. Our movement is built on the principles of conscious leadership, community engagement, and technology-driven governance.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower citizens to take an active role in shaping the future of Tamil Nadu. We aim to create a platform where individuals can contribute to a new era of politics, built on the principles of transparency, accountability, and inclusivity. Our goal is to contest the next Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and provide a new alternative to the people of Tamil Nadu.
